Is it logical to believe in one God who has no sons or daughters, partners, companions or anything like Him?

Alslamu Alikum.. Mostly those who don't believe in God say they don't because they can't see Him. Yet if we only believe in something just because we can see it and reject it if we can't or couldn't see it then no one would believe that his parents are truly his biological parents just because he or she wasn't there when they were being convinced or can't remember their mother giving birth to them or that we have a soul because none of us have ever seen a human soul or that other planets exist except astronauts. Why do i need Islam when i already know what's right and wrong without a religion telling me how to live my life?

Alslamu Alikum.. Well, basically there are plenty of reasons for why you need Islam not just one: As long as we already established  that Allah swt is the creator of the universe [1] and that He already exists [2]  and that his message is authentic [3]   then whatever He ordains to us would happen and how we feel about it doesn't make any difference regarding it. And that is something no man can ever reach, learn or know out of his own brain without Allah swt sending us a clear message from Him to tell us the answer of all these questions and this message is Islam [4] Alhamdu llah. Islam's not just telling you how...

What are some scriptural basis for Sharia Law and why is it still practiced today?

This is what is implied by Islam being a divinely-revealed religion: its pillars are based on  infallible texts  that were sent down from heaven, which are represented in  the verses of the Holy Qur’aan  and  the texts of the saheeh Prophetic Sunnah . Imam al-Shaafa’i (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: No view is binding  unless  it is based on  the Book of Allaah  or  the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) . Everything other than them  should be based on them . End quote.  [Jimaa’ al-‘Ilm] . From these two sources the scholars derived other principles on which rulings may be based. Some scholars called them the  sources of sharee’ah  or  the sources of Islamic legislation . They are:  ijmaa’  (scholarly co...
